Chiropractic

We provide evidence-based chiropractic care that is rooted in our patient-first treatment philosophy. Our focus is getting you back to feeling like your best self, free from chronic and acute pain.

There are no unnecessarily long treatment plans, open-concept treatment spaces, or “quickie” adjustments at our Collaborative Care Centre. Your time with our chiropractor takes place one-on-one in a private treatment room. You’re never left wondering about the state of your injury or how your healing is progressing. We aslo work closely with your other trusted medical professionals including physicians, physiotherapists, athletic therapists, and others.

Chiropractic is a non-invasive approach to pain-free living for people of all ages, including young children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular skeletal conditions and the effects that these conditions have on overall health and wellbeing.

Services in our Carleton Place chiropractic clinic include:

  • adjustments and mobilizations
  • soft tissue therapy
  • injury prevention and rehabilitation
  • chronic pain management
  • pre- and post-partum care
  • pelvic floor rehabilitation
  • range of motion therapy
  • acupuncture and electroacupuncture
  • osteoarthritis management
  • spinal stenosis management
  • headache management
  • jaw pain management
  • athletic taping
  • Mulligan therapy
  • and more

A common misconception regarding chiropractic is that it is only appropriate to make a chiropractic appointment when in pain. Preventative care is a way to avoid future neuromuscular skeletal issues from impacting your life. Having your spine checked regularly can help prevent major issues from occurring in the future. Making small corrections to the spine can help the nervous system remain balanced and contribute to a pain-free body.

She uses a variety of treatment modalities in her practice, including acupuncture, postpartum rehabilitation, osteoarthritis management, fall prevention, and spinal stenosis management. Patients at our Carleton Place chiropractic clinic collaborate with their practitioner on their course of care. There are no expensive plans that a patient must sign up for.
