Scholarship Program

We encourage and support the students in our community.

Heritage Community Fitness offers a scholarship fund to extend financial assistance to students who are enrolled in a post-secondary program. This program awards successful applicants with a $1000 scholarship towards the cost of their education.

“We felt this would be a great way to support the students in our community,” says Heritage Community Fitness & Rehabilitation Centre founder, Kevin Price. “This is a very broad program and is not simply targeted at students in the health and fitness field; we support trades, technicians, and scholars alike.”

There are two types of scholarships available: 1) Graduating High School Students Scholarship (non-members) for students graduating from one of our community high schools (Almonte District High School, Carleton Place High School or Notre Dame High School) and 2) Members Scholarship for members of Heritage Fitness who are currently enrolled in a post-secondary school program.

Graduating High School Students Scholarship (non-members)
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must:

  • submit scholarship application along with completed essay questions (see page 2 of the application form)
  • graduate high school in year of scholarship application
  • be enrolled in a post-secondary education program in any area of study beginning in September of application year
  • agree to an interview process should they be chosen as a finalist

Please note that students do not need to be a member of Heritage Fitness to apply.

Members Scholarship

We are proud to support the students in our community and wish each of them all the best in their education and beyond.
