We encourage and support the students in our community.
Heritage Community Fitness offers a scholarship fund to extend financial assistance to local students who are enrolled in a post-secondary program. This program awards successful applicants with a $1000 scholarship towards the cost of their education.
“We felt this would be a great way to support the students in our community,” says Heritage Community Fitness & Rehabilitation Centre founder, Kevin Price. “This is a very broad program and is not simply targeted at students in the health and fitness field; we support trades, technicians, and scholars alike.”
Our scholarship program is open to students graduating from our community high schools (Almonte District High School, Carleton Place High School and/or Notre Dame High School). To be eligible for the scholarship, students must:
- submit the scholarship application along with completed essay questions
- graduate high school in the year of the scholarship application
- be enrolled in a post-secondary education program in any area of study beginning in September of the application year
Please note that students do not need to be a member of Heritage Fitness to apply.
Congratulations to our three 2019 scholarship recipients:
Melissa Carlucci (Almonte High School)
Ensby Brule (Notre Dame Catholic High School)
Natalika Culhane (Carleton Place High School)
We are proud to support the students in our community and wish each of them all the best in their education and beyond.
