To The Mat Yoga began in September 2017 out of a desire to expand our line-up of yoga classes and offer our community a welcoming and intimidation-free environment in which to practice. When we began To The Mat Yoga, we offered yoga classes in various spaces throughout our facility. Due to the enthusiastic reception and overwhelming success of To The Mat Yoga, we made the decision to expand our facility. On January 28, 2019, we opened the doors to our new purpose-built yoga lounge and studio. This expansion allows us to double the number of classes we originally offered and introduce warm and hot yoga classes along with speciality yoga programs.
Our mission at To The Mat Yoga is to allow our members the freedom to define what yoga means to them and to create a space that supports the journey inward; a meaningful exploration of body, mind, and spirit. We hold space for you to engage in that journey on your own terms.
Our yoga classes provide everything from a gentle challenge to more advanced strength building sessions. Savour Yin-Restorative and Gentle Yoga for a meditative practice or turn up the intensity with StrOgaLates and Power Yoga.
Our classes are designed to accommodate all levels of fitness. To The Mat Yoga classes are led by highly-trained and respected yoga teachers who provide modifications for each posture to allow members the freedom to explore the movements.
