We host Carleton Place events and fundraisers to support the people and organizations that help make Carleton Place great. Below are the events we are planning for 2020. All our community and fundraising events are open to members of Heritage Fitness and guests who want to join in on the fun.
April 17: Treadmill Trivia
This fundraiser for Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation combines fitness, trivia, and fun. Teams engage in a battle of the brains while getting in a cardio workout. More details to follow.
May 30: Spring Fitness Challenge
Our Spring Fitness Challenge is focused on power, functional movement, and anaerobic conditioning circuits that push participants beyond what they feel they are capable of doing (but can!), pushing oneself beyond their limits in honour of those who go beyond their limits every day in service to our country. This 75-minute group fitness challenge is to raise money for a cause near and dear to trainer Nicole’s heart: Soldier On. Download the poster.
July: Christmas in July Spin Challenge
A benefit of the Lanark County Food Bank. More details to follow.
July and August: Fresh Air Fitness
We look forward to this every year! Join Heritage Fitness, in partnership with the Town of Carleton Place, for group fitness classes at Riverside Park. The classes are free and everyone is welcome. More details to follow.
Plogging is an activity that involves jogging and picking up litter. We want to do our part to keep Carleton Place looking beautiful. Join us for a minimum $2 donation to the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation. More details to follow.
October: Two-Hour Group Fitness Challenge
Let’s get together for an intense two-hour workout and support the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation in the process. More details to follow.
